In April, 2008, Saranaloka Foundation was granted tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Board of Directors is comprised of six members, all of whom have not only a deep commitment to Dhamma practice, but also possess the professional skills and experience required to successfully govern the Foundation.
The Board meets regularly every month together with the nuns at Aloka Vihara to discuss pertinent issues and vote on resolutions as needed.
